There are places in Johannesburg where the setting is almost as memorable as the meal. Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff is one of them.

Perched above the city in Westcliff, the hotel has long been known for its views. But its dining offering has been evolving, and there is now more happening than simply booking a table for a special occasion.

At the centre is Flames, where seasonal ingredients meet open flame cooking on the hotel's terrace. Lunch is served Monday to Saturday, dinner runs every evening, and Sunday brunch is also on the menu. The restaurant's current menu includes locally sourced ingredients and dishes prepared using a Josper grill.

Sundowners at Flames
