The Smirnoff ICE Fan Park Sandton: Where Every Match Feels Bigger |
From football and rugby to Wimbledon and motorsport, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park is turning Sandton into one of the city's most exciting live sports destinations. |

Some sporting moments are simply too big to watch alone. Whether it's a dramatic penalty shootout, a last-minute Springbok try or a championship point at Wimbledon, there's something special about sharing the moment with hundreds of fellow fans.
That's exactly what the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park at Wakanda Village Sandton Market is delivering this winter.
Running until 19 July 2026, the fan park has transformed the popular Sandton venue into a lively destination where sport, music, food and entertainment come together. Giant outdoor screens broadcast the biggest sporting fixtures while food vendors, bars and live DJs keep the atmosphere going throughout the day and into the evening.
More Than Football
Although the FIFA Club World Cup remains the main attraction, the experience has grown into something much bigger.
Following a successful opening weekend, organisers have expanded the live sports offering to include selected Springbok rugby Tests, Wimbledon tennis and major motorsport events, giving visitors even more reasons to return throughout July.
Adding to the atmosphere is a lineup of popular South African DJs, including 2wo Bunnies, Tristan Urwin, Havoc and Tiiamo, who keep the energy high between matches.
A Sporting Experience with Festival Energy
Unlike watching from your living room, the fan park creates the feeling of being part of something much bigger.
Supporters celebrate together, analyse every decision together and experience every twist of the game surrounded by fellow fans. Combined with quality food, refreshing drinks and live entertainment, the result is a sporting experience that feels closer to a festival than a traditional viewing party. Situated at 137 West Street in Sandown, Wakanda Village is easily accessible from across Johannesburg, making it a convenient meeting place whether you're arriving with friends, colleagues or fellow supporters.
Before You Go
The Bottom Line
Whether you're following the FIFA Club World Cup, cheering on the Springboks or catching the closing stages of Wimbledon, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park offers one of Johannesburg's most vibrant winter social experiences. It's where live sport, great entertainment and passionate fans come together, proving that some of the biggest moments are even better when they're shared. |
