There comes a point when simply telling the kids to "go outside and burn off some energy" doesn't quite work anymore.

Sometimes it's raining.

Sometimes it's too cold.

And sometimes, if we're honest, the adults are just as excited to join in.

That's where Rush Extreme comes in.

Located at Greenstone Mall, this indoor adventure park has become one of Johannesburg's favourite places to jump, climb, race and discover that bouncing on a trampoline is a surprisingly good workout.

More Than Just Trampolines

Rush Extreme is much more than a room full of trampolines.

There's a huge interconnected trampoline arena where you can bounce from wall to wall, foam pits for practising your best landings, dodgeball courts for some friendly competition, slam dunk lanes where everyone gets to feel like a basketball star and climbing walls that test strength, balance and confidence.

Whether you're six or sixty, there's something that will have you smiling within minutes.

Fun That Doesn't Feel Like Exercise

Jumping on a trampoline isn't just entertaining.

It's also an excellent full-body workout.

Every bounce works your legs, core and cardiovascular system while placing less impact on your joints than running on hard surfaces.

Discovery Vitality members can also earn Vitality points during qualifying jump sessions, making it one of the few workouts where you'll probably forget you're exercising.

Parents Can Relax Too

Rush hasn't forgotten about the grown-ups.

Parents can relax in the spectator area with complimentary Wi-Fi, comfortable seating and access to food and drinks while keeping an eye on the action below.

It's one of the reasons the venue has become a favourite for birthday parties, family outings and school holiday adventures.

Whether you're celebrating an occasion, escaping a rainy day or simply looking for a different way to stay active, it's the kind of place where an hour disappears surprisingly quickly.

You might arrive thinking it's just for kids.

Don't be surprised if you're the last one wanting to leave.
