This Saturday, Belinda Davids brings them back to the Mandela Theatre in The Greatest Love of All, a live tribute to Whitney Houston.
More Than a Playlist
Davids, who was born in Gqeberha, has performed the show internationally and appeared on stages including Britain’s Got Talent and Showtime at the Apollo.
There is also a nice connection to this weekend’s venue. The Greatest Love of All premiered at Joburg Theatre in 2013, before going on to tour internationally.
The roughly two-hour production features Davids alongside a live band and backing vocalists, with many of Houston’s best-known songs on the setlist.
The Bottom Line
If Whitney Houston’s songs still make you turn up the volume, this one doesn’t need much explaining.
