You do not need a cupboard full of board games to join this Heritage Day gathering. Host Alex is bringing games along, and guests are welcome to bring favourites too.
The Geeks with Jobs meetup takes place at Cesco’s restaurant at the German Country Club in Paulshof. Beginners are expressly welcome.
A group built around shared interests
Geeks with Jobs brings together people interested in gaming and geek culture who want to meet like-minded friends. Despite the name, you do not need to be employed to join.
The group uses Discord for conversation and organising activities, allowing members to chat without sharing phone numbers.
Before You Go
The Bottom Line
This could suit anyone who finds meeting people easier with a shared activity on the table. You can arrive as a beginner and let the games provide a starting point for conversation. |
