Msaki and Thando Zide are performing at Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden in Roodepoort this Saturday as part of the Sunset Music Series. Gates open at 13:00, giving visitors time to settle in before the performances.

The event offers an afternoon of live music with space for picnic blankets and camp chairs. You may bring your own food, while drinks must be purchased from the bars provided. A limited number of food vendors will also be available.

Before You Go

  • Performance times: The main ticket description lists 15:00–18:00, although a shorter description on the same page still gives a 17:00 finish. Confirm the final schedule before travelling.
  • Tickets: From R195, excluding booking fees.
  • Children: Under-fives enter free.
  • Bring: Your picnic food, a blanket or camp chair, a hat and sunscreen.
  • Leave at home: Your own drinks, cooler boxes, glass, gazebos and tables.
  • Re-entry: No pass-outs are permitted.
  • Booking: Use the official Webtickets listing to check availability and purchase tickets.

The Bottom Line

Arrange your picnic and seating before arriving, and budget separately for drinks. The organiser says the concert proceeds in rain or shine, with no refunds, so check the forecast and pack accordingly.
