Hiring a fiancé to win a business contract is a risky plan. In Semi-Soet: Die Musiekblyspel, advertising executive Jaci tries it to save her company, setting off romantic complications along the way.

Anel Alexander plays Jaci opposite Bobby van Jaarsveld as JP in the stage adaptation of the South African romantic comedy. 

After its 2025 run at AfriForum Teater, the production has expanded to Montecasino’s Teatro. The producers say this version includes a larger cast, new songs and larger-scale visuals, giving returning audiences something different to look forward to.
